Hello
Anil,
Just a quick note to tell you how much I enjoyed the trip.
Kelal was an excellent driver and very helpful. The people
I met as I walked to through the towns were friendly and inviting.
I even got a chance to visit a school and give out the awards.
Thank you again for your excellent arranging of the trip.

Subject: Feedback on Junuary Trip
Hello
Anil and Sunil --
A
few things we thought you should know about our recent trip
-- which, overall, was brilliant!
1.
Vijay, our driver from Udaipur to Agra, was a true treasure:
skillful, patient, helpful in every way, with a nice sense
of humor (ask him about the camel at the petrol station).
2. Two hotels far exceeded our expectations: Samode Haveli
in Jaipur, of course, and Amet Haveli (corner room) in Udaipur.
3. Within 10 minutes of your second phone call to us in Varanasi,
the Palace on Ganges miraculously moved us to a very nice
room. The staff said the problem was our booking request did
not request a river room (which we doubt is true). In fact,
none of their other rooms should be considered for guests
expecting 3-4 class accommodations.
4. Indovision's agents in Khajuraho and Agra were particularly
attentive, showing us great welcome and advice on dining,
etc.
5. The most outstanding guide by far (highly knowledgeable,
fine explainer and listener, warm, personable) was Shulendra
Singh in Udaipur/Ranakpur, followed by Bavani in Delhi (yes,
even though at first he skipped the mosque).
6. If we were to revise the itinerary, we'd add one day each
in Jaipur and Udaipur or Khajuraho, and spend just one night
in Agra (or visit via fast train from Delhi) and one in Varanasi;
we might skip Bikaner.
In
general, congratulations on providing excellent services and
a totally satisfying visit. We plan to recommend you to friends
making their first trip to India in the future.
Sincerely
--

Dear
Anil / Namaste,
I hope this email finds you well. Apologies for the rather
late/delayed response. But life has just been way too busy
since i/we returned home from our trip to India in May'06.
I / We would like to thank you very much for organizing this
'trip of a lifetime'. We enjoyed every minute of it -- i/we
were happy with the overall organization -- the hotel selection,
local guides, drivers and transportation -- and effort that
you and your team (local/regional representatives) have put
into making this trip unforgettable.
And should we plan a trip to India in the future (or know
of friends you who do), then we will certainely be back in
touch and rely on your services. I/We would hereby wish you
all the best for the future & continued success.
In the meantime, have a nice remainder of the day.
Kind Regards,

I just wanted to let you know that we were delighted with
the way that Indovision organised and arranged our recent
tour of India and to let you know that we had an amazing trip.
Everything worked liked clockwork and all of our drivers were
lovely. I have been recommending your company to all of my
friends and one of them will be contacting you in the next
couple of days, she is travelling to India in a few weeks
and would like you to arrange her tour.

Dear Mr Anil,
We arrived in Milan on 2nd January in the evening. We would
like to thank you for the excellent organization of our tour.
India has really impressed us and we enjoyed our time very
much. You and your collaborators have always been so punctual...
However, we thank you for the information you got on our behalf
regarding the situation of our flight.
We hope we will come to India once more in the nearest future
since there is still much to see and then, maybe, we will
take the opportunity to have the dinner we missed!
Best Regards,

Subject: Re: M. Acheson ;Feedback - India tour
It
is now 10 days since we returned from India. So it is certainly
time to give you comments on the excellent tour that you organised
for us.
Globally we were very satisfied with the arrangements that
you made for us. All your drivers and guides were on time
and were helpful. It is always a concern when one reserves
a complete tour with an unknown company over the Internet,
and I can now strongly recommend your services to anyone!
Our choice of tour satisfied our needs very well, although
we spent a day longer in Delhi than we might have wanted.
The Hotel Marina although well situated does not come close
to the standards that we might have expected for a 4 night
stay. It suffers from the big City hotel problems and appears
to have close to 100% occupancy. 2 of the 3 rooms we tried
were excessively noisy: one had the impression of (trying)
to sleep in a railway station. The staff were unfriendly and
we were priviledged to be favoured by the presence of their
front desk staff, who considered us to be some sort of inferior
beings! The rooms were ok, but the bathrooms were/are filthy,
as was the breakfast buffet restaurant (look at the carpet!)
In short we would have spent more, to avoid such an overall
poor experience, in a better hotel.
Delhi itself lived up to its bad reputation of trying every
trick in the book in relieving the unsuspecting traveller
of their holiday money. Evey kind of wolf in sheep's clothing
lurked in wait to try to entice the tourist into a souvenir
emporium or some kind of ruse to that involved some kind of
(unwanted) expense. Delhi in my opinion is best avoided altogether,
until it enforces some control over these cowboy tactics.
However we did do some excellent shopping of clothes (I bought
an excellent suit and 2 pairs of trousers) which is a lot
more useful and interesting than the tourist junk that everyone
assumes we wish to fill our homes with.
However Lucknow and Allahabad were joys by comparison: we
were made to feel very welcome in both cities, and cannot
understand why there is not more tourism there as there much
to see of interest. La Place Park Inn in Lucknow was excellent
in every respect with friendly courteous staff, excellent
room and a clean bathroom and good greakfast. The Royal Café
restaurant down the road was excellent for dinner. In Allahabad,
the hotel Kanha Shyam was older, but the staff were friendly
and efficient, and the vegetarian buffet is excellent value
and delicious.
Varanasi brought the Hotel Palace on Ganges, the rooms were
pleasant, but breakfast was the worst of any of the hotels,
and dinner grossly overcharged and of poor quality. We ate
outside for one third of the price and twice the quality.
It was clear we were back in the world of Western tourism!
Khajuraho was well worth the detour, the Holiday Inn was comfortable
and of a good standard although the dinner was over priced:
again we found better for one quarter of the price proposed
by the hotel. The tour guide was excellent.
Rishikesh was a vey pleasnt break after the previous 2 weeks
of tourism. The High Banks Peasant Cottage is very well situated,
and the room adequate, although the bathroom was in serious
need of being brought up to Western standards. We did see
on leaving another room with an excellent bathroom! However
the breakfasts were excellent, the staff friendly and efficient,
but the room was cold: the heaters not being available until
January. It is always better to look at a thermometer than
a calender to determine the temperature! The evening meal
again was overcharged in comparison with a Nepalese restaurant
we found 20 meters opposite the main gates. My wife found
all the Yoga and meditation that she needed with high quality
teachers, and I found plenty of walks and things to do during
her absences.
Finally the Delhi airport hotel room and bathroom was a far
better choice than the Marina hotel, despite the fact that
it is situated on the main truck route out of Delhi!
I hope these comments will be of value to you in helping other
clients who are planning tours and hotels through you.
Many thanks for providing us with such excellent service and
hope one day to reuse your services when we next return to
India.
Kind regards
Michael Acheson

Hi
Mr Anil Yadav,
I write you just to give you the right feed back about our
tour: everything was organized very well and we never waited
for someone or had any trouble. Our driver was the best part
of the tour: he was a very skilled driver and we always felt
in good hands and protected; furthermore he also was a very
kind person!
The guides were basically well prepared but the one we had
in Delhi was very skilled and with an hight cultural knowledge;
The only man we didn't like very much was the guide in Jaipur
cause he seemed to be more interested in forcing us in shopping
activities rather than in making the city tour.
Thank you very much

Namaste
Good evening Anil,
I just thought I'd drop you a quick email to say how well
organised your tour was. Everything went superbly well, all
the representatives were there to meet us and the guides were
both knowledgeable and very pleasant. The elephant safari
was super, but unfortunately we didn't see any tigers (but
that gives us an excuse to return some day). The Taj Mahal
was even more magnificent than we had imagined. All in all
a most wonderful holiday.
I must mention both drivers for particular praise. Vejay and
Surish were extremely pleasant company and very good drivers.
We didn't feel worried
on the roads at all despite the rather chaotic manner in which
the other drivers behaved.
I would have no hesitation in using you again and will be
recommending you to several of my friends who have asked for
a report on how we got
on as they are considering a holiday in India too.
Once again a big thank you and may I wish you a Merry Christmas
and a very Happy New Year.
Best regards
Ian

Dear
Anil
Namaste!
I am sorry that it has taken us so long to contact you since
our return from India at the end of October.
We have been quite busy since this time. However, we did want
to write to thank you very much for organising our holiday
to India (Rajasthan) through Indovision. We were very happy
with your services and especially the heritage hotels and
the driver, Mr Nandu. We would highly recommend him; he was
courteous, helpful, goodnatured and most importantly drove
carefully as we requested. Please do pass on our gratitude
to him.
I have already recommended your company and services to one
of my colleagues and will continue to do so. We were impressed
by the professionalism of your company and by the individual
attention and support that you offer. Your assistance with
planning through regular email communication prior to our
trip was also very helpful and much appreciated.
Please do pass on our thanks and praise to your staff and
of course our best thanks to you and Sunil. We certainly hope
to visit India again one day, so perhaps our paths will cross
one day again in the future.
With kindest regards

Subject: The May's Tour in India
Dear
Anil Yadav
Can we just start by saying we had the most wonderful time in
India and thought your company did a superb job in organising
a magical tour.
A special thank you to Shri our driver who is a most delightful
young man who really looked after us.
We have put some comments in red under
each heading below.
22
NOV :
ARRIVE DELHI AT 0125 HRS
On arrival, meet and assist at the airport and transfer to Hotel
Connaught.
Thanyou to Saresh for meeting us and driving
us to the Connaught.
Afternoon, city tour of New Delhi.Visit Humayun's Tomb : built
in mid 16th century this is an early example of Mughal architecture
; Qutab Minar drive past India Gate, President House and other
govt. buildings. The tour ends with a visit to Laxmi Narayan
Temple (Birla Mandir).
23
NOV : DELHI
After breakfast, visit Old Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid, the largest
mosque in India. Built by Shah Jahan, the construction was started
in 1844 and was not completed until 1658 ; Red Fort, which was
also built by Shah Jehan. This massive fort was built from 1638
to 1648 ; Chandni Chowk and Rajghat - the cremation site of
Mahatma Gandhi.
Overall this tour of Delhi was excellent
with a very knowledgeable guide.
The Connaught is not the best hotel in the world but adequate
for our needs. The food was OK and it was of course very central
to Connaught Place, which we really enjoyed. Your tip of spending
my birthday dinner at the ITC Shangri-La was a good one although
we ended up in the Pavilion restaurant because the main restaurant
was full. The Pavilion was great they did a birthday cake etc
and the manager really did a good job - wonderful food. We noted
that some of the 5 Star hotels were rather isolated so in all
we were pleased with the Connaught.
Afternoon,
free.
24
NOV :
DELHI-MANDAWA (250 KMS, 06 HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast, leave for Mandawa. Arrive Mandawa and check
in at Hotel Castle Mandawa * *.
What a fantastic Hotel and place. I think
we would have liked to have stayed a couple of days here had
we known how good it was. Excellent guide.
Afternoon, visit Mandawa (Shekawati region). This region came
into prominence in the 14th century when a number of Muslim
clans moved into the area and the towns of this region developed
into important trading posts on the caravan routes emanating
from the ports of Gujarat. This region is famous for painted
havelis (houses) most of which date back from the 18th century.
The major towns of interest are Mandawa, Fatehpur, Nawalgarh.
Visit the havelis in Mandawa and other villages of Shekhawati
region.
25
NOV : MANDAWA-SAMODE-JAIPUR (180 KMS, 04 HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast, leave for Jaipur. Enroute visit Samode.
My wife Jan had just read the book "Far
Pavilions" and as you know this is where the film was made.
Stunning place, we had a good guide called Gopi who showed us
round and obviously loved the place as well. Had it been possible
we would have liked to have stayed here.
Continue drive to Jaipur - The city owes its names, foundation
and its careful planning to the great warrior - astronmer Maharaja
Jai Singh II. In 1727, with Mughal power on the wane, Jai Singh
decided to move down from his hillside fortress at neaby Amber
to a new site on the plains. He laid out the city, with its
surrouding walls and six rectangular blocks, according to the
principles of town planning set down in Shilpa Shastra, an ancient
Hindu treatise on architecture.
Arrive
Jaipur and check in at Hotel Park Plaza.
Very good modern hotel with good food
and a great bar.
26 NOV : JAIPUR
After breakfast, excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride from
the foothills of the Aravallis to the fort entrance.
Amber
Fort : At a distance of 11 kms from Jaipur, Amber was the ancient
capital of Jaipur state. Construction of the fort began in 1592
by Raja Man Singh, the Rajput commander of Akbar's army and
is a superb example of Rajput architecture.
Afternoon,
city tour of Jaipur. Visit the City Palace which has museum
having an extensive collection of art, carpets, enamel ware
and weapons ; Jantar Mantar - the observatory built my Maharaja
Jai Singh in 1728 and the façade of Hawa Mahal.
What a fantastic place, we loved it all.
We were so taken by the "Palace of the Winds" (built
for the women) that we bought a carpet signifying this design.
The elephant ride up to the City Palace was marvellous and what
a view from the top.
27 NOV : JAIPUR - RANTHAMORE
NATIONAL PARK (180 KMS, 04-05 HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast, leave for Ranthambore National Park - Located
at the junction of the Aravalli and Vindhya hill range, This
is one of the finest places to view animals, especially as they
are used to being stared at here. The park covers an area of
Approximately 400 sq Km and if combined it with the area of
sawai man singh sanctuary area,it is around 500 Sq km. Ranthambore
national park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1957 and
in 1974 it gained the protection of "Project Tiger".
Arrive
Ranthambore and check in at Hotel Tiger Moon. Afternoon, jungle
safari inside the park in a jeep.
Three safari's and saw no tigers, still
we saw the BBC film at Tiger Moon. Very friendly staff but as
Shri knows, I was not happy about having to do two of the safari's
with 6 tourist passengers, a guide and a driver all in one jeep.
I was wedged in between two of the largest German guys on this
planet. Joking aside this is a marvellous place with plenty
of other wild life to see.
28 NOV : RANTHAMBORE NATIONAL
PARK
Morning and afternoon, jungle safari inside the park in a jeep.
29
NOV : RANTHAMBORE- FATEHPUR
SIKRI - AGRA (325 KMS, 07-08 HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast, leave for Agra. Enroute visit the abandoned
Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri : built by Emperor Akbar in 1569,
was the old capital of the Moghuls, which was abandoned after
15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings
including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal
& other Palaces which are still preserved in its original
glory.
Another great place with an excellent
guide but now some of the places are starting to look the same,
didn't we do the Jama Masjid in old Delhi?
Continue drive to Agra. Arrive Agra and check in at Hotel Holiday
Inn.
Holiday Inn was fine, food OK.
30 NOV : AGRA-DELHI (203
KMS, 04-05 HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast, city tour of Agra. Visit Red fort, which was
built by Emperor Akbar in 1565, and additions were made up until
the time of his grandson, Shah Jahan. It contains the hall of
public and private audiences amongst many other beautiful structures;
Itmad-ud-daulah, which was contructed by Nur Jahan between 1622
and 1628 and is very similar to the tomb she constructed for
her husband, Jehangir, near Lahore in Pakistan; the highlight
of the day - The Taj Mahal, which was constructed by Shah Jahan
in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Contruction of the Taj began
in 1631 and was not completed until 1653.
Yes this really has the Wow factor. Didn't
Shah Jahan have a nasty son!
Afternoon, leave for Delhi. Arrive Delhi and check in at Hotel
Connaught.
01
DEC : DELHI-GOA (FLIGHT, IT 203, 0950-1355 HRS)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board flight for
Goa. On arrival in Goa transfer to Dona Sylvia Beach Resort.
As you know we changed the flight to Spice
Jet so we could fly direct without going via Mumbai. Good plane
new 737/800 and good service.
02-06 DEC : GOA
Days free.
We loved Goa and excellent way to chill
out after being on the road. The Dona Sylvia Hotel complex was
fine, clean large pool, bungalow type accommodation again clean
and functional. The bed and breakfast aspect was fine for us
since there are many places to eat outside the complex all reasonably
priced. The D/Sylvia was close to the beach (40km long) and
the beach shacks are all very good supplying cheap drinks and
excellent sea food. Go for the "Shade Shack" run by
Rossario - excellent. If you buy the odd drink you don't pay
for sun beds. Not many sellers on the beach compared to our
bus trip to Paloleum beach in the south. A word to your future
clients in Goa - you can hire motor bike/scooters but you must
have an International driving licence, otherwise the police
hit you with a large fine despite what the hirers tell you.
We swam in the sea mainly which was lovely and warm but be careful
of the occasional undercurrent, it pays not to go out of one's
depth.
07 DEC : GOA-DELHI (IT 206,
1435-1950 HRS)
After breakfast, free. Afternoon, transfer to the airport to
board flight for Delhi. Arrive Delhi and have dinner in a restaurant.
After dinner, transfer to the international airport to board
flight back home in the early hours of 08 Dec.
Thank Shri for picking us up at the domestic
airport, we were 60mins late arriving. Thank you for taking
us to the "Broadway Restaurant" in Old Delhi what
a marvellous place, this really rounded off the holiday. We
didn't expect that Indovision would be paying for the meal,
thankyou.
All
the food we had on this trip was very good, this included the
lunch places that Shri took us to during our transits. Yes we
felt a bit queasy sometimes but from my experience of world
travel "first sign take an Imodium", this worked for
us and hopefully anyone who might read this one day. One other
thing we hardly saw a mosquito.
We had a fantastic time made possible by Indovision Tours Pvt.
Ltd who may now receive a few calls from our friends.
Love to Shri and his family.
We
will be back.
Best
